A report by the Green Building Council has praised a London shopping centre, and has made recommendations for improving biodiversity in buildings.
There are big plans for the LEED rating system, the world’s most renowned green building rating system by the United States Green Building Council. In an effort to fine-tune the rating system, which awards buildings and projects a level of certification based on a point system where points are earned by accomplishing certain green building and sustainable strategies, the USGBC has announced the format of the long awaited LEED 2009, formerly known as LEED version 3.0.
